It begins when someone gives something and the other person accepts it, recognises the value of what they have received, and is grateful for it. Whoever received and gave thanks must have stopped being a cynic for a while. They have allowed a bridge to connect with their mind.
What they have received does not, in fact, matter in the slightest. What matters is the bond that has formed, because when that bond exists, cynicism disappears.
A cynical relationship is one in which there is no true union, no true acceptance of the other person, and no genuine wish for their happiness. It is a relationship in which the mind, instead of focusing on giving, focuses on taking, on possessing.
True connection establishes the conditions of the kingdom because it is a complete reconciliation with the “external” through an inner bond: the real bond, the golden bond, the sublime bond.
I state categorically that the kingdom could be found in a single afternoon of absolute, raw honesty, because we came here to lie to ourselves and believe our own lies. Therefore, the only thing that can free us is the Truth.
There are so many lies we continually tell ourselves. So many things we seek serve only to hurt us, while what we do not seek, and could free us, seems insignificant at first. This is an upside-down world that we ought to turn around completely.
If you are not happy, it is because none of your relationships is real, because none of your relationships is free of fear and you cannot be entirely yourself. You are terrified of being real because you see the blade of death pressing against your throat.
And just one is enough! With a single real relationship, the Son of God has been forgiven.
This is all the kingdom requires, and that is why it is said that they enter two by two. And what is Heaven but absolute, unconditional Love?
Your saviour is not one particular person, but anyone who manages to pass through all the doors that lead to your true Self. And if they reach it, it is because you have allowed them to. You have unwrapped it completely. You have revealed it completely. You have forgiven the Son of God, forgiven yourself, forgiven your own false creation.
And once you have forgiven and stand at the gates of the kingdom, God embraces what is true in you, and what is false fades away. What remains is as perfect and eternal as the kingdom itself. It is nothing new, only what you already were and mistook for an absurd dream.
Nothing is taken from you; loss does not exist in an infinite, eternal Creation. The kingdom roars with laughter at the very idea of any loss.
To forgive or truly connect is one of the keys to returning to what has always been One.
